NAVER 'Dam of Hangeul' Event
The NAVER 'Dam of Hangeul' event was held at Myeongdong Art Theater Square in Seoul. It was an event to share the importance of Hangeul with citizens by solving voice quizzes about loanwords and newly coined words that we inadvertently used.
The purpose of event was to realize the seriousness of loanwords and newly coined words that the younger generation, who are familiar with using messengers, used casually in their daily lives. Participants entered the booth and took quizzes on loanwords and newly coined words. The booth was designed with large transparent glass so that the expressions and experiences of the participants can be well conveyed to many people.
After the voice quiz event, participants wrote messages on various postcards and notes that made of beautiful Korean lettering to commemorate the event.
