Kakaopay Ilustration System
KakaoPay creates financial services for everyone.
We developed an illustration system with improved accessibility and efficiency for equal services to all users.
#Accessibility
We use illustrations consisting of planes without strokes to help users tell texts and images apart. Information is providedin three tiers—icons, 2D, and 3D—to visualize the importance of each item. We also created a new color palette for theelderly and people with low vision or color vision deficiency. The palette consists of colors with brightness contrast of 3:1or higher as per the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
#Efficiency
We integrated the system environments into a single “Resource Center” for easier access to illustrations. With over 3,000registered sources, the center provides a keyword search function to help users find what they are looking for, and supportsa wide range of file formats including .png, .svg, and .webp.
The revamped illustration system allows users to access the services seamlessly and without discrimination.
In turn, theefficient system environment enables us to focus on creating better service experiences.
