Kakao Pay AI personalized chatbot
The Kakao Pay chatbot services, including Paybot, Securitiesbot, and Financial Assistant, were fragmented across different services, lacking consistency. User research revealed that the services were difficult to use and inconvenient, highlighting the need for improvement. Additionally, there was a growing demand for a new identity that would showcase the advanced AI technology behind the chatbot services. To address this, I proposed a new unified visual identity for the chatbot that conveys both AI-driven technological trust and approachability.
I directed the concept development of transforming the i (representing intelligence) into the ! (exclamation mark), symbolizing user amazement and excitement.
To ensure the final design aligned with the concept and strategy, I focused on accessibility through color choices and refined the forms to maintain Kakao Pay's unique visual consistency, enhancing the overall design quality.
Pay i identity has already been applied to Kakao Pay's insurance service,
providing the ‘AI-powered Health Management’ feature.
